Residency 23rd – 27th October The Box (short) Julia James-Griffiths / JJG Dance

During her residency at The Work Room, Julia James-Griffiths will be developing a short work of The Box alongside two other dancers. The Box (short) is based on the full-length piece of The Box; a contemporary dance theatre piece that looks into the impact depression can have on an individual, and how our society responds to it.

The residency sharing will end with a brief discussion about the work.

During this residency, Julia will also be offering a free community workshop titled Mind To Move for those with experience of mental health issues (no dance experience necessary).
