News: Funding Award - Returning to Practice Residency

Julia James-Griffiths is excited to announce that she has been successful in securing funding from Creative Scotland for a two week residency in Edinburgh on returning to practice.

The residency will be a time for Julia to focus on reconnecting and returning to her work, following a time of pause and reflection due to the pandemic. Along with two of her dancers, she will be continuing her development of Mind To Move and revisiting The Box | A Glimpse and considering what future the work can have now in light of the pandemic.

Julia will be delivering two FREE Mind To Move classes - Mind To Move Community and Mind To Move Dancers on the 15th of July. For more information and to book, please click here. A short documentary about the practice of Mind To Move will also be made and later shared.

There will be a sharing at the end of the residency where Julia will share what she and her dancers have explored and discovered with returning to The Box | A Glimpse, and the next steps.
